Du soutien clinique et communautaire est offert aux personnes qui ont subi une lésion débilitante au cerveau. Les lésions cérébrales acquises (LCA) peuvent être traumatiques ou non traumatiques. Elles ne comprennent pas les maladies congénitales ou dégénératives. Les traumatismes crâniens, les accidents vasculaires cérébraux, les anévrismes et l'anoxie font partie des LCA.
