Description des services: Abiona Centre, in collaboration with Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC), provides 27 rent-geared-to-income (RGI) units. Twenty-three (one-bedroom units) and four (two-bedroom units) are available to young parenting mothers aged 16-24, with a maximum stay of up to four years. Clients must meet the following eligibility criteria: - Young mothers aged 16-24 who are the primary caregivers (would have had their first child by the age of 19) - Homeless or under-housed - On waitlist with Access to Housing Toronto (potential clients will be assisted in their applications if necessary and appropriate) - Demonstrate a financial need - Applicant should be working or enrolled in a full-time or part-time program (training, trades, school, etc.) - Demonstrate the ability to live independently - Willing to participate in case management, monthly tenant meetings, quarterly service plans and workshops facilitated by Abiona Centre or in collaboration with partners.
