Small Business Lending Program: access to low-interest loans (up to $10,000)
  • mentorship and other supports
Peer Supported Startup Program:
  • 8-week program business skill development program
  • access to skills training, business guidance, and support of a peer network
  • virtual classroom sessions and small-group mentoring
  • $300 start-up grant upon program completion
Youth Small Business Program
  • 8 to 10 week business skill development program
  • virtual lessons and mentorship sessions
  • peer co-working
  • $500 start-up grant upon program completion
EnterpRISEing You:
  • casual online entrepreneurship course
  • 15-module course centered around business skills and business plan development
  • access to a Rise business advisor upon program completion



Frais: No fees for business advisory and application process services ; interest charged on all financing products
Procédé et formulaires: Call, email or complete online application
Follow-up meeting with business advisor, business and cash flow plan required; supporting documentation must be submitted
Admissibilité / population desservie: Individuals who self-identify as having current or past mental health and/or addiction challenges, who are are interested in self-employment and are unable to access business financing from mainstream sources

Must not be in active bankruptcy or in arrears with child support payments or government taxes
