Specialized support and emergency services for people who are Deafblind
Intervenor Services - Trained intervenors facilitate communication for people who are Deafblind * helps clients build confidence and improve their safety and independence * provides DBCS clients in Ontario with Deafblindness, access to Intervenor services in an emergency situation *& methods of communication include:- American Sign Language
- braille
- larege-print notes
- print on palm
- two-hand manual
- voice over (speaking with an adjusted tone, speed and volume)

Skills Development Services
- Literacy and basic skills training for adults who are blind, Deafblind, or have low vision * individual and group instruction to support learning goals including employment, high school and post-secondary education, and daily skills * programs are offered in the students' preferred communication method * available virtually and in classrooms, community locations, or students' homes
