Recreational and life skills programs to help children and youth with disabilities improve their level of functioning in home and community settings

Therapeutic Clown Program
- Positive diversion techniques during certain medical procedures and assist during various therapy, education and Child Life sessions * helps to empower each individual and allow the individual be the leader of the play interaction * includes music, rhythm, movement, physical comedy and slapstick

Transition to Adult Services - LIFEspan
- Joint service between Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and Toronto Rehab to help youth and young adults with childhood onset disabilities to successfully transfer from the pediatric rehabilitation system to the adult health care system * provides support and education to youth and families to prepare for changes in health care, funding, and community resources * adult clinic at UHN-Toronto Rehab is a single point of access for consultative and coordinated rehabilitation services in the community
